Pianoforte is also committed to ongoing environmental improvements. Processes are constantly monitored for effects and the company works pro-actively with responsible organisations in the development of the Company Environmental Management System to conserve the natural environment.

This is demonstrated in our ISO 14001 accreditation and in our Environmental Policy statement shown below:

The Policy of Pianoforte Supplies Limited operating at Simplex Works, Roade, has been, and will continue to be the prevention of pollution, and a commitment to continual improvement in Environmental Management.

The Company will, through the application of this Policy, maintain accreditation to ISO 14001, achieved in December 1999.

Pianoforte Supplies Limited manufactures articles produced in synthetics, plastics, rubber and metals for various applications both internally and externally.

Processes cover synthetics, plastics, rubber and metal forming with associated finishing and assembly.

In particular, Pianoforte Supplies Limited will:

  • Meet, or exceed, all relevant legislation, regulations, and other requirements
  • Continue to develop operational procedures, and review environmental objectives and targets by maintaining emissions and discharges within defined limits, reducing waste through recycling or reuse, and ensuring the safe disposal of other materials
  • Continually review the Company's environmental performance to minimise energy consumption and the use of materials harmful to the environment
  • Make information on environmental performance available to all Company employees, the public, and other stakeholders
  • Provide the necessary training and support to employees at all levels
  • The Policy will be periodically reviewed to ensure continued compliance and reflect changes in stakeholder requirements
