Pianoforte offers an extensive range of metal processing that includes:-
- Pressings including Double Action Presses from 6 to 500 tonnes with a maximum bed size of 2.1m x 1.6m.
- Precision rolled section from rolling mills with up to 24 operations for the most complex
profile. The process is supplemented with ancillary sweeping and cut-off tooling and the facility for piercing and notching in line.
- In addition, Pianoforte has an extensive range of power bending machines including stretch bending for the manipulation of rolled section and co-extrusions.
- For assemblies there is a choice of welding techniques including: - Resistance Welding, Gas Welding, Robot Welding and Brazing.
Pianoforte has eight co-extrusion lines for PVC, PVC multi-laminates, PVC / metal profiles and other materials with the facility for in line flocking, as well as three separate flocking lines to meet all requirements.
- Pianoforte manufactures extruded profiles in a wide variety of thermoplastics. Experience with different materials and tape technology has led the company to be one of Europe's leading manufacturers of self-adhesive body side
mouldings.
- For mouldings, the group has a range of plastic injection machines from 25 tonnes to 650 tonnes and a maximum shot weight of 3740 gms.
